We started a marketing campaign to get our name out there through placing yard signs in the yards of our happy customers. If a client was willing to take a picture with a yard sign in their yard or holding the sign, they’d go in a drawing for a visa gift card. The technicians got to work right away.
Shortly after the contest started, a client called in wanting to take a picture with a sign because she was very happy with the results, but the tech ran out of the signs at the time his team finished the work. Since the client didn’t live too far from the office, I decided to go out and take the picture with her personally.
When I arrived at her house, the homeowner and her young kids were waiting for me in the yard. They were very friendly and you would have thought that I was the president with the greeting they had for me. The homeowner told me outright that her only reason for having Atlas work on her home was to make her kids’ rooms more comfortable and that we came through for her.
Periodically, because of how hot their room got in the summer, her kids would leave their rooms and jump in bed with mom. I asked her about the results of the attic insulation and the duct sealing with Aeroseal. She told me she was finally happy to have her room back to herself.
We laughed a bit before taking the picture. The entire family got in on the act and we got a good snapshot of her and the kids holding the sign. The homeowner even recommended us to someone else. I saw the message stuck to my monitor when I arrived back at the office.
