Our Management Team
Matt graduated from Drexel University in 2009 with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. He developed a foundation of construction skills and project management experience while working for his father's construction company on projects ranging from framing, custom trimwork, plumbing, and HVAC service and installation. Since the founding of Atlas, Matt has furthered these skills by becoming an accredited HERS Rater and BPI Building Analyst Professional while completing home energy audits and building performance improvements. Now, Matt is the go to guy when it comes to any building performance issue and is working toward achieving his Professional Engineer License.
Mike graduated from the University of Maryland in 2008 with a degree in Economics. After starting his career in project management for a commercial builder he moved in to the world of energy efficiency in 2009. Mike is an accredited HERS Rater, a BPI Building Analyst and Envelope/Professional and is responsible for managing all home improvement services.
Jorge graduated from Mount St. Mary's University in 2011 with a degree in psychology. He joined the Atlas team working part time as an assistant on Energy Star Ratings of new homes. He was able to pick up knowledge on many aspects of new construction, as well as familiarize himself with diagnostic testing relating to air sealing and duct sealing measures. He received his certification as an Envelope Professional and Building Analyst Professional from the Building Performance Institute in 2013. Since receiving his certifications, Jorge has had the opportunity to perform hundreds of home energy audits, as well as help manage the completion of his recommended improvements for many homeowners.
